Anna Bredemeyer – India’s Original Supermodel!

Anna Bredemeyer is widely recognized as India’s original Supermodel.  She has over 40 years of experience with World Class Luxury Brands. She forayed into the world of advertising in the 1970s as a commercial model and has endorsed almost every product & brand the country has to offer.

In 1976, Anna represented India at the Miss Asia Quest and was placed as the 2nd Runner-up.

Anna set foot into the world of ramp modeling in 1979 and had the privilege of working with fashion institutes like SNDT, NIFT, and every known Indian designer in the world of fashion viz Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla, Wendell Rodricks, Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Hemant Trivedi to name a few.

From 1996 to 2003, Anna was the Ambassador to India’s first international brand’s lifestyle store, Beautiful Boulevard. Along with being the spokesperson, Anna launched & established a host of brands in the Indian market, such as Tiffany & Co., Omega, Longines, Breguet, Lancôme, Lalique, Givenchy, Longchamp, and Godiva.

From 2004 to 2011 Anna was engaged with Entrack International Trading Pvt Ltd. as Country Head – Marketing, PR & Advertising for the worldwide reputed international brands Montblanc, Canali & Girard Perregaux and subsequently as Country Head, Brands for Brioni and Badasaab.

Anna’s work with the exclusive Italian Menswear Brioni; involved overseeing all aspects of the brand’s operations. She has also been Ambassador for Dasvino Town & Country Club at Lavasa and was the Vice President of Marketing of High Street Phoenix & Palladium between 2011 and 2015 as well as Brand Development Consultant and was involved with retail brand partner tie-ups for Kohinoor Square.

Anna has earned several global honors and awards including the Newsmakers Lifetime Achievers Award in 2016 for her distinctive contribution to the world of Modelling and Fashion.

Anna has produced & choreographed a series of fashion shows on International Luxury Liners for Burlington’s and is passionate about conducting Personality Development & Grooming workshops for young adults embarking upon life.
